Simon Sterck

Simon Sterck, is a driven and ambitious multitasker - passionately committed to a climate-just future.

He is the youngest director of Leuven 2030, elected three times in a row as European Climate Pact Ambassador and UN youth representative for Sustainable Development to the Flemish Youth Council. He represents youth on the world stage, from the United Nations in New York to the Belgian delegation at COP28 in Dubai. His message is clear: citizens, especially young people, play a key role in the fight against the climate crisis. In addition to these impressive responsibilities, Sterck shares his insights in leading publications and media such as Veto, mijnleuven, De Tijd, and De Wereld Morgen.
