Jaouad Alloul
Starting as a pastry chef, Jaouad worked his way up from drag queen at the age of 22 to the versatile artist he is today. The stage is his natural habitat, where he transforms into a goddess. As a speaker and moderator, he always chooses to bridge the gap between the different identities he embodies. He released music in 2021 (Messias) and 2023 (Homo Universalis) and is an artist in residence at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp.
His debut novel 'De Meisje' (Lannoo Publishing) is a fictional tale about his life. In theater, he is known for productions such as Zeemeermin (BeHuman), De Meisje (MartHa!tentatief), Venus In Libra (Toneelhuis), Phenomenal Woman (BeHuman), Kruistocht (Opera Ballet Vlaanderen), Shakira & Chikara (Kopergietery), Tina & Tamara (Hart Boven Hard).
