Julie Verlinden

Julie Verlinden is a PhD researcher at Ghent University, specialized in Archaeology and Ancient History.

Two years ago, Julie was involved in an accident that caused a spinal cord injury (SCI). After her injury she became a participant in the HemON study, a study investigating the potential of ONWARD® ARC Therapy™ to restore blood pressure stability after a spinal cord injury.

Today Julie is an advocate for the therapy, which is still in development, and wants to give back to the SCI-community by creating awareness about the importance of innovation and collaboration to bring more breakthrough therapies to the market.
