Roy Sevit

Roy Sevit

Roy Sevit received his master's degree in Chip Design in 2009. Soon after, he started his career at Mobilab & Care, the center of expertise for healthcare innovation at Thomas More University College.

Roy became the driving force behind the development of a robotic exoskeleton for the upper limbs. That exoskeleton should improve the rehabilitation trajectory of patients with stroke and upper limb disorders. Currently, he is still active in that field and is expanding his attention to the development of lower limb exoskeletons.

Therefore, Roy will present on our catwalk the MOTION step robot for children. The project "Mechanized Orthosis for Children with neurological disorders," or MOTION for short, aims to help children with neurological disorders with a lightweight, personalized and evolving exoskeleton, and is supported by VLAIO.
