Jana Kerremans

Jana Kerremans (°1984) is an expert in arts, heritage, and socio-cultural work, as well as a freelance presenter and moderator at janakerremans.be. Jana studied French and Spanish Language and Literature at KUL and the Universidad de Salamanca, and holds a master's degree in Cultural Studies and a masterclass in Cultural Management. Currently, Jana is coordinating the launch of the city festival Construct Europe 2024 in Mechelen. Previous experiences include serving as director of Kunststeden Vlaanderen, managing director at museum Kazerne Dossin, and project coordination for several cultural participatory and artistic projects.

Since 2019, Jana has been working as a part-time freelancer. As a freelance presenter and moderator, she has collaborated with Passa Porta Festival, Vrij-Spraak, Bozar, Brainwash Amsterdam, Theater aan Zee, Hannah Arendt Instituut, Africamuseum, De Buren, Europalia, Visit Flanders, Memento Woordfestival, De Federatie, Socius, UGent, Vredescentrum, among others. Finally, Jana serves as a committee member at Literatuur Vlaanderen and for the departments of Arts and Heritage, and Socio-Cultural Work of the Flemish Government.
