Health & Wellbeing For Future Generations

Imagine... we are 50 years ahead. Or even 100 years. How will you look back on today? Can you believe a workday lasted more than four hours? That children were not allowed to use AI at school? Why we chose to focus on "Health & Wellbeing For Future Generations"? Because we want to encourage you to step out of the treadmill of quarterly stress and short-term thinking. During the festival week, we bring generations together to incubate innovations for our rapidly and ever-changing world. But importantly, we aim for the long term and sustainable solutions! Which technologies will improve the lives of future generations? And more specifically: enhance their physical health and mental well-being?

Connect with like-minded individuals. Changemakers who, just like you, don't just want to think about the next three months but the coming decades. Let the festival take you from now to later, where the focus is on long-term thinking that spans generations. And that prioritizes our health and well-being!

About FTI

Since 2018, thinkers, entrepreneurs, researchers, artists, and innovators have come together at the and& festival, the country's largest innovation festival. In 2024, and& will continue within the framework of the Flemish Flanders Technology & Innovation. With this ambitious project, the Flemish Government aims to demonstrate that technology and innovation are crucial for the future of Flanders. Moreover, with this initiative, Flanders strengthens its reputation and position as an ambitious, open region at the forefront of scientific innovation.
