Partners of the Leuven Innovation Region, such as KU Leuven, Hogeschool UCLL, Thomas More, and Brightlab (imec), are joining forces with Technopolis, the Flemish technology activity center for children, to ignite the creativity of Leuven's future generations. At PLAY, children get a taste of science through real experiments. They can get hands-on by creating their own computer game or working with real robots.

On Sunday, March 17, it's time for an unforgettable adventure into the future. During PLAY, we blend learning and playing in the same pot and transform Bib Leuven Tweebronnen into a place where children can indulge in the technologies of tomorrow and the day after.

You start with a spectacular show by Technopolis about Vesper, who wants to get a spot in the book 'The Smartest Scientists in the World.' To achieve this, Vesper brings along his best experiments. From clouds to fire and even liquid nitrogen at a chilling -196°C! Enjoy numerous spectacular experiments during this dazzling Technopolis show and choose your favorite at the end!

After the show, you can freely roam the interactive fair and participate in various activities, such as:

🚁 Soaring to New Heights Together: See the sparkle in your children's eyes as they fly trough the sky with drones, imagining themselves as pilots.

🤖 Discovering the Magic of Robots Together: Your children can engage with futuristic robots, catching a glimpse of the technological world they will shape their future with.

🔬 Diving into Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) Together: Enter a new dimension where reality and fantasy merge. Explore the boundaries of reality with captivating VR and AR experiences.

🎮 Laser Tagging Together in the Library: Transform the library into an epic setting for a game of laser tag! Your children jump, duck, and dance among shelves full of books. Who knows, they might outsmart you with teamwork and a well-thought-out strategy!

You can choose from 4 time slots (13:00 // 14:00 // 15:00 // 16:00). Each time slot begins with the Technopolis show about Vesper. Afterward, you are free to explore the interactive fair. We kindly ask you to limit your visit to 2 hours so that all young adventurers have the opportunity to explore the future.
