A better body = a better life?

Have you been to Martelarenplein in Leuven recently? No? Then it's about time because between March 12 - March 20, you can watch the boundaries between humans and technology blur. 24/7, and for free!

The Body of the Future (with capital letters, rightly so!) is an installation of two containers high and with a 3D deep screen that tells the story about enhanced senses, saved lives, and a redefinition of what it means to be human.

Through five interactive stories, you will experience how hearing, moving, eating, reproducing, and even walking will be different in the future. As we take steps that were unthinkable before, we face new, profound dilemmas.

Why in Leuven, you ask? Flanders often plays an important role in innovation within the health sector. The Body of the Future is science communication as can only be done in Leuven. With a deep-screen animation that previously was only seen in Times Square. And it is also a calling card, as the installation will travel to the FTI closing festival in Antwerp on March 23 and 24.

Above all, the Body of the Future asks a question: is a better body a recipe for a better life? Come and discover how the future of our bodies is being reinvented in Leuven!
