Bas Sturm

Describing himself as a “Happy Dutchman in Belgium” Bas Sturm loves to work with technology start-ups and SMEs.

Sturm studied Industrial Design Engineering at the TU Delft in the Netherlands. He then worked as an industrial designer for large companies like DAF, GE Plastics and Philips, and was cofounder of NLA Industrial Design, an Antwerp-based design office.

He joined (the predecessor of) VLAIO Team Bedrijfstrajecten 18 years ago. VLAIO offers Flemish companies advice, partner matching with other organizations, and access to subsidies.
