and& is a biennial festival that brings together changemakers of today & inspires curious minds of all backgrounds. It provides a platform for interdisciplinary innovation that aims to transform our society & acts upon the challenges we face today.
and& takes place on 6 - 9 May 2020.
The festival kicks off on Wednesday May 6th with an opening show. It's the starting point of three days filled with inspiring keynotes, networking opportunities, unique interventions & astounding performances.
Thursday and Friday form the focal point of the festival with conferences and an entrepreneurial summit on Thursday only
On Saturday and& opens up to everyone and offers an extra Play track for families and kids.

and& takes place in the city centre of Leuven. The main venues are divided over two areas. The central area is clustered around the city park, STUK & M Museum, & hosts the daytime programme. The area around the train station and Het Depot will be filled with the evening programme. All venues in both areas are situated within walking distance.

The and& program consists of several tracks that you can find below. The focal point of our festival is the conference on Thursday May 7th and Friday May 8th, and an entrepreneurial summit on Thursday only. and& continuous through the night with avant-garde music acts & inspiring talks. On Saturday May 9th and& opens up to everyone and offers an extra track called 'Play' for families and kids.

The Pro+ pass includes the full experience and access to the Entrepreneurial Summit on Thursday May 7th. Pro+ is for entrepreneurs eager to learn from & network with enthusiastic founders, experienced start-up operators, successful investors & leading industry experts from Belgium & beyond.

Brussels Airport (28 km from Leuven)
The easiest and fastest way to reach Leuven from Brussels Airport is by train. A direct train will have you in Leuven in just 15 minutes.
Brussels South Charleroi Airport (90 km from Leuven)
The journey to Leuven from Charleroi Airport will take approximately one and a half hour. You can buy a ticket at Charleroi Airport which combines the bus to Charleroi Sud and the train to Leuven.
Leuven is easy to reach by train from all Belgian and European cities. Leuven train station is very close to the festival area and city centre.

The historical centre of Leuven is traffic-free and everything is within walking distance. The rest of the city centre is subdivided into five districts. In each district a loop directs traffic from the ring road to a city centre parking garage and back to the ring road.
