The ink of Peter Vanham’s degree in commercial engineering from KU Leuven had barely dried before he had applied to Columbia University in New York. From there he graduated with a degree in business and economic journalism.
In his articles and books, Vanham dissects the world economy, and the companies and people that shape it. In addition, he has a strong interest in improving Belgium: in terms of prosperity, competitiveness and ambition.
Vanham has been active at the World Economic Forum since 2014. There he spent the first four years in charge of US media relations from New York. Since 2019 he has headed the Forum's International Media Council, and is head of communications for the founder and chairman of the international organization, Klaus Schwab.
