Jonas Vandenbruaene is the co-founder of 180 Degrees Consulting Antwerp. This pro bono consulting firm engages university students to provide meaningful consulting services to other nonprofits. It’s a win-win scenario. Students acquire valuable skills and nonprofits benefit from free consulting services on a wide number of domains.
Vandenbruaene studied business engineering at the University of Antwerp. He gained valuable experience from going on various exchange visits to the United States and India during his studies. He’s currently employed at the University of Antwerp as a teaching and research assistant. He’s also pursuing a PhD in Financial Economics at the University of Antwerp. His focus is on market efficiency and behavioral finance. Every year Vandenbruaene organizes a summer school in Georgetown University in Washington DC for 28 students.
