Dana Nastase leads the Business Development efforts of Twipe, a Belgian technology company based in Leuven. Twipe offers a state-of-the-art digital publishing and analytics SaaS platform, developed in close collaboration with leading newspapers across Europe. Every month 8 million digital editions are downloaded from the Twipe platform, which is helping newspapers including The Times, Le Monde and Ouest-France grow their subscription and reader revenues. Twipe’s innovation capability has been recognized by Google, which has granted Twipe funding from its Digital News Initiative fund three times already. Twipe is actively investing in machine learning and artificial intelligence to understand and predict reader preferences and optimize their reading experiences.

Nastase is focusing on geographical expansion and market watch for insights on new and right product development. A person who likes to get things done, she is energetic and positive, with a lot of enthusiasm and ideas. She loves working with passionate people for products she believes in, in open and free-minded environments where innovation can flourish and leadership is based on trust.

If you are interested in the future of news, check out Nastase’s presentation at and& Leuven. She will also be describing Twipe’s most recent product, JAMES - the digital butler. Built in collaboration with NewsUK, it makes use of self-learning algorithms to individualize distribution of content via newsletters, push notifications or other triggers.
