Are you between 8 and 13 years old? Then fill your backpack with the craziest ideas and join us at the Children’s University! 

This time, the theme of the Children’s University, an initiative of the KU Leuven in collaboration with and&, is about ‘shaping the city of the future’. Have you ever wondered what the city would look like in twenty years?

Will there be robots in the streets, will you be able to fly your bicycle across the city, will the houses be made of recycled garbage? You will find out at the Children’s University!

how does it work?

The and& children's university program will be announced on March 19th, registrations open March 30th at 09:00. On the day of the event you check in at our welcome desk in Maria-Theresia College. The Children's University is a free event (except for lunch). Parents are not allowed during classes but will be offered to discover one of the many side-events of and&. During lunch at Alma I you will be able to eat together though.

12:30 - 14:00: lunch together with your parents in Alma I like a real student

what about your parents?

The keynotes and workshops of the Children’s University are only accessible for kids aged 8 to 13 years old. Parents are not allowed… but they will not be bored! The M Museum boasts a diverse range of talks & inspiring keynotes touching down on various topics linked to the Leuven region. The art interventions trail curated by Samir Bantal will make you discover the city in a different way. The tech expedition then again is is a must-do experience parcours for everyone interested in interventions that fuse creativity & technology.
