Innovate for the better
Our 2020 edition would’ve revolved around ‘Innovate for the Better’. It’ll be no different for our 2021 edition. Moreover, in the light of COVID-19, this is the perfect time to rethink how we function as a society, how we can collaborate on a global scale and how innovation can contribute to this. We’re glad to see that, besides the daily updates about the Coronavirus and its impact, there are changemakers all over the world who share their long-term vision and dare to ask the right questions. “What happens post Corona?!” This situation pushes us to reassess how we’re going to shape our future and to re-evaluate how we can innovate for the better.
In general, the program will stay the same. As you know, and& revolves around a two-day conference and an entrepreneurial summit - a platform to connect entrepreneurs, start-ups, scale-ups and investors. Initially this would have taken place on a Thursday and Friday, but in 2021 we’ll push this to Wednesday April 21st and Thursday April 22nd. In the coming weeks, we’ll keep you updated about what our program will look like when it comes to our Curious program, the art expo, kids festival and more.
We do want to share that we would like to consider this an opportunity to fine-tune our festival. In addition we’d like to reassert our baseline ‘Stop Talking, Start Doing’ by engaging you more actively during the festival.
We’re working on reconfirming most of our booked keynote speakers. We’re excited to already (re)announce the following names:
Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia; Uri Levine, co-founder of Waze; Dr. Payal Arora, author of ‘The Next Billion Users’ and digital anthropologist; Chris Messina, inventor of the hashtag; Theo Priestly, technology evangelist and anti futurist; Erika Cheung, Theranos whistleblower and ethical entrepreneur; Cal Fussman, world-renowned interviewer and author.
More reconfirmations and new names will follow in the coming weeks.
