We are looking to infuse our team with new energy, from October 2019 to May 2020. More specifically we're looking for profiles in copywriting & social media, graphic design, art production & scenography, event production & hospitality.

We provide an intensive internship with interesting assignments under supervision with regular feedback moments. You build up know-how within your area of interest and gain insight into the realization of an ambitious city festival. All of this in an inspiring working environment with a great, young team.

COPYWRITING & SOCIAL MEDIA

You …

  • support all (inter)national communications related to and&.

  • write fluent English web copy, newsletters, social posts, and press releases

  • are acquainted with basic HTML and CSS languages

  • update website content and social media platforms

  • support the national promotion of and&

  • think digital and social

  • have a keen eye for design and details

You ...

  • master Adobe Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)

  • know how to translate brand guidelines into deliverables

  • are acquainted with basic HTML and CSS languages

ART PRODUCTION & SCENOGRAPHY

You …

  • participate in the production team and are responsible for the realization of the art exhibition & scenography

  • have an affinity with the world of contemporary visual arts or media art

  • work together with the production manager, artists, and curators of the expo

  • help manage the budget, arrange transport and look for suitable materials/objects/ people for the realization of artworks

  • contribute to the plan for the scenography of the exhibition and the festival

EVENT PRODUCTION

You ...

  • are part of an exciting & innovative production team and want to help take and& to the next level.

  • are responsible for the realization of the and& production & the surrounding activities

  • are an essential link in house, which communicates smoothly between the various cells (technology, business, ticketing, catering, etc.)

  • help support the administrative follow-up of the program (contracts, budget, technical sheets, etc.)

  • help supervise a number of productions and participatory projects within and&, you think about presentation formats, technical possibilities,...

  • steer everything in the right direction during the festival

  • support technical construction and disassembly

  • handle production scripts & planning, safety planning & implementation

  • handle productional follow-up with partners

  • support safety planning & implementation

  • support bar, catering & mobility planning

HOSPITALITY (ARTIST, CREW & VOLUNTEER HANDLING)

You ...

  • work together with the summit director to make sure world-class keynote speakers have an amazing experience at and&

  • investigate different transport and hotel options for artists and speakers

  • are the point of contact for artists, speakers, companies & volunteers & you support them in a practical and production-oriented way

  • communicate professionally & directly with the framework of the artist or speaker & you request the necessary information

  • contribute to the scenario & planning of the final travel and accommodation information

  • follow-up on stage-managers, runners, guest list & transport coordinators

  • coordinate the technical riders with the production team

  • you find & motivate volunteers & you have an eye for involvement in and&

  • plan & coordinate all the volunteers running up to, during & after and&

  • organize volunteer events across Leuven

  • work in close consultation with those responsible for programming, production, promotion, catering & technology

  • prepare call sheets for the event so volunteers, artists & speakers are well-informed
